The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, January 6th and runs through Sunday, January 12th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. I'm new to this too!!! High five lol & I plan on reading 4 books but they look too big so I don't know lol

DeleteIt's my first time as well. I plumped for 5 books (as yet I'm undecided on which titles) because I thought 'if I'm gonna do this, I'm gonna do it!' lol. :-) Good luck!

It's great that it's your first time participating! My first Read-A-Thon was Bout of Books 4.0 and since then, I haven't found a better Read-A-Thon! The hosts and challenges and Twitter Chats are amazing! Just make sure that you take part in as many of the social events as possible!
