Friday Favorites #1

Friday Favorites #1

Friday Favorites is a weekly meme hosted here, that spotlights a favorite author, book, series, publisher, cover, blog, etc. Basically whatever bookish thing that you love, recommend, and want to tell others about.

The False Prince is the thrilling first book in a brand-new trilogy filled with danger and deceit and hidden identities that will have readers rushing breathlessly to the end.

In a discontent kingdom, civil war is brewing. To unify the divided people, Conner, a nobleman of the court, devises a cunning plan to find an impersonator of the king’s long-lost son and install him as a puppet prince. Four orphans are recruited to compete for the role, including a defiant boy named Sage. Sage knows that Conner’s motives are more than questionable, yet his life balances on a sword’s point—he must be chosen to play the prince or he will certainly be killed. But Sage’s rivals have their own agendas as well.

The stunning second installment of The Ascendance Trilogy takes readers on a roller-coaster ride of treason and murder, thrills and peril, as they journey with the Runaway King! Read More

Why these are my Favorites? The False Prince was better then what I was expecting. The main character is well written, he's stubborn and sly. He does what he wants and gets in a lot of trouble for it. It has an amazing plot twist which I was blown away by. I don't want to spoil the second book, The Runaway King but its just as good as the first one. If you love Action, Adventure, and Historical Fiction in one, these books are for you.

  1. The False Prince has been on my tbr for forever. I have heard such good things about it and have been planning on getting hold of a copy so that I could read it. I'll have to move this up in my list and hopefully get to it early next year. Great picks! Thanks for sharing!!!
