I'm going to post some of my pictures that I take of books. I got inspired by other blogs and I want to get better at taking photos of books. Like the pretty ones I see on tumblr and instagram.
I always feel like my photos are missing something, so I decided to add something to it, like the glasses or a toy. I need a better background and its hard to find because my place is so plan and there is always someone in the apartment, so I only take pictures in my room. My lighting sucks so I take pictures in the morning when the sun light is shining through my windows.
Can anyone give me tips/ideas on taking pictures of books?
Hmmm, most pics I find on tumblr are just books stacked up on each other or on a shelf stacked horizontally. And also on a flat surface, like a table.
ReplyDeleteBut other then that, I don't usually take photos of books since I'm broke and usually don't buy any. I like the third and fourth pic though ;)
on tumblr I see so many pictures, like the way the books are angled, background, people reading, a coffee mug. Idk, sometimes I wonder what I can do differently. Thank you for the comment and compliment. :)
