  1. I really love the Mistborn series. I want to read Daughters of Smoke & Bone, but I haven't gotten to it yet. I also adore Cinder and Scarlet :D My list would probably be J.K. Rowling, Rick Riordin, Kim Harrison, Ilona Andrews, Richelle Mead, Patricia Briggs, and Julie Kagawa. Jaclyn @ JC's Book Haven.

Romance author Jo Beverley topped my list. The highest-placed "mainstream" author was Madeleine L'Engle, whom we could say wrote "old-school" YA. LOL!

The only author on your list whom I've read is Eoin Colfer. I bought Artemis Fowl and Anthony Horowitz's first Alex Rider book Stormbreaker at the same time, and I'm afraid that Alex completely eclipsed Artemis! I reread Artemis Fowl a few years later and enjoyed it better, but Colfer just didn't hook me. Not even with The Supernaturalist, which I read later and liked even more. Just not my cup of tea, I guess!

  3. You have a very interesting set of Most Frequent Authors on your shelf. Mine is Jodi Picoult with six of her books. AND I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THERE WERE OTHER BOOKS BY ANDREW SMITH.

I nominated you for the Liebster award over at my blog: http://spraypaintedtunnels.blogspot.com/2014/08/the-liebster-20_18.html So, yeah :)
