Top 5 Character Tropes

I don't know many character tropes and I haven't read that many books to love them or hate them. But here are some I like and would love to read more from.

5. The Funny Friend/Character
  • Zuzana from Daughter of Smoke & Bones
4. The 'we can't be together for a stupid reason' trope or where character A assumes something and don't talk to character B - this one is a love/hate because I hate when it happens but I'm not going to hate the book because of it.
  • The Promise of Amazing by Robin Constantine
  • The Secrets of Attraction by Robin Constantine
  • To all the Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Han
  • Isla and the Happily Ever After by Stephanie Perkins

3. The Smart/Clever Character (the one who got tricks up his sleeve and does things you would never see coming)
  • Sage from The False Prince by Jennifer A. Nielsen

2. Strong Female Character
  • Karou from Daughter of Smoke & Bone by Laini Taylor
  • Penryn from Angelfall by Susan Ee

1. The Rebel Chracter? The one who is different (but human) and have the power to save/change the world. They can't whine about it too.

  • A Crack in the Sky by Mark Peter Hughes (Everyone lives in a Dome and its starting to fall apart. The main character figures it out and tells trys to tell people. People are being hypnotized by something and he can break free from it.)
  • Brain Jack by Brian Falkner
  • Katness from The Hunger Games (only seen the movies)
This might be confusing. Sorry. :)
