Spooktacular: Ghost books I want to read...

In traditional belief and fiction, a ghost (sometimes known as a spectre (British English) or specter (American English), phantom, apparition or spook) is the soul or spirit of a dead person or animal that can appear, in visible form or other manifestation, to the living.

Spooktacular: Zombie Apocalypse Book Tag!

This tag was created by Nathan Hale. Choose 5 of your favorite books. Write your books on a piece a paper and randomly pick a book. One book for two questions. you can pick another character if you get the same one.

I'm going to do this different. I'm going to write down the names of the characters on a paper and randomly pick them.

Penryn, Raffe, Karou, Akiva, Sage, Imogen, Isla, Josh, Lara Jean, Peter

Your Zombie Team
1. The first person to die - Karou (NOOOOOOOO!)
2. The person you trip to get away from the zombies - Imogen
3. The first person to turn into a zombie - Penryn (no, she would of been a great brawler)
4. The person that trips YOU to get away from the zombies - Josh
5. The idiot of the team - Raffe (great, he could of been the weapons expert)
6. The "brains" of the team - Sage (I can see that happening)
7. The team's medic - Lara Jean
8. The weapons expert - Isla
9. The brawler - Akiva
10. The Team Captain - Peter (REALLY?!)

Spooktacular: Zombie books I want to read...

Zombies are living-dead creatures often referred to as flesh eating or brain eating creatures spread by an infection such as a virus or by a bite.

I never thought I would want to read a zombie book but here are some that caught my interest.

Spooktacular: Vampire books I want to read...

Vampires are mythological or folkloric beings who subsist by feeding on the life essence (generally in the form of blood) of living creatures, regardless of whether they are undead or a living person. They are characterized by fangs, usually retractable, used to suck blood. Vampires are usually killed by a stake to the heart and direct exposure to sunlight. They are often warded off by crosses and the smell of garlic. Since they are undead, they are generally immortal unless killed by one of the aforementioned methods. Often, many are blessed with unnatural and inhuman strength and senses.

Blood Orange Soda by James Michael Larranaga
Dark Talents by Max Turner

Department 19 by Will Hill
Fat Vampire by Adam Rex
Infinity by Sherrilyn Kenyon

NOS4A2 by Joe Hill
Vampire Rising by Jason Henderson
A Living Nightmare by Darren Shan

The Vampire Encyclopedia by Matthew Bunson

Did you read any of these books? Did you like them, hate them? Are there any other vampire books you recommend?
